Free the Child
Four free circles. This fall.
Life is a classroom: the kitchen table, the back of the car, the argument, the apology.
When we humanize how we move through life, children go free - the ones in front of us and the ones still in us.
These gatherings are for teachers, principals, counselors, homeschooling parents, and anyone who spends their days with kids.
90 minutes, Sunday mornings on Zoom, free. If you can't make it live, the recording goes out after.
Sundays: Sept 27th, Oct 18th, Nov 15th, Dec 6th.
Where "behind" came from and what opens up without it.
Learning happens in a web, not a line. Leave with a 90-second check-in for yourself and a kid.
Four questions that tell you whether a curriculum frees or manages - plus resources to take with you.
Play is how a child practices being free. We look at what it takes to make room for it and each leave with one thing to change.
Hi, I'm Dahlia. One year in the classroom taught me that the design was the problem, not us - and I've spent the decade since working on the design. Curriculum designer, PD facilitator, coach, restorative circle keeper, somatic movement practitioner, M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction. Since 2023 I've been weaving a new design for education through Liberated Learning. I carry Rarámuri lineage and offer this work as part of my own reconnection to ancestral ways of learning - relationship with land and kin, the body as a site of wisdom, repair instead of punishment.
