Dear Reader,
Have you ever sat in a meeting, classroom, or family dinner, and felt something in you say this isn't how we're supposed to be together.
We are a relational species. Woven into the quilt of our lineage that's shaped by the people, experiences, and land around us.
We're constantly being shaped and shaping our web right back, every day, whether we notice or not. We're constantly learning.
This is what most of human history knew. Including my own Rarámuri lineage, before industrial schooling taught generations of us that we're meant to learn alone, sit still, compete, and call it growth.
The web is alive in the day to day. We can learn to see and honor it.
And once you feel it again, you start seeing it everywhere.
The kitchen table is a classroom.
The car ride home after the hard day is a classroom.
The apology, the argument, the walk outside - all of it is where the web gets tended, or doesn't.
This is the actual felt experience and practice of relational ecology.
